Elephant and Eagle Energy
Elephant Energy and Eagle Energy operate a market-based distribution network which empowers off-grid entrepreneurs by providing access to energy technologies, assisting them with initial capital, and training them in marketing and sales operations. This highly decentralized network of rural shops and sales agents delivers products, education, and ongoing support to their own rural communities. Elephant Energy and Eagle Energy engage rural individuals and businesses who see a business opportunity in selling clean energy technologies in their local areas, but who currently lack access to the technologies, the capital to buy them, and the know-how to effectively market and sell them.
By working with established businesses and entrepreneurs to distribute energy products, we provide access to energy in the most remote and underserved areas while generating incomes for local business people.
Elephant Energy is a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado with operations in Namibia and in the Four Corners region of the United States (under the name Eagle Energy).
